When our customer wants to explore the possibilities of giving a striking appearance and out of the normal color tone of each species, TIMBERCOM offers the process of SMOKING which is an old method of discovering the effects revealed when the tannins present in many species of wood react with ammonia. The effect achieved is a darkening of the wood grain revealing touches of color change that produce a ‘vintage’ enrichment of the final appearance making the changing shades achieved, stable over time and better resistant to the exposure to light.

If our customer wants to maintain the appearance of the fiber and grain of a certain species, which gives it its richness, but his project needs a non-natural, modern, differentiated colors, TIMBERCOM offers the possibility of performing a DYEING process to the required color, keeping intact the aspects of the original fiber of the species. Dyeing offers a wide range of colors. Minimum quantities are required to perform this process.
